My bathroom vent fan motor gave out during that cold snap last month

Took it apart and found the old bearings were just shot... a $15 replacement motor from the hardware store on Western had it running quiet again in an hour. Anyone know a good local source for those weird plastic fan blades if this one ever cracks?

I used to order online until Ace saved me too.

Oh good, the classic "bearing death rattle". Nice find on the motor. I'm with @nancyjones on checking Ace first for the blade, because the last thing you need is to order the wrong one online and end up with a sad little propeller that moves no air. My last one cracked after I dropped a shampoo bottle on it, which felt like a new low in home maintenance.

I had to replace the whole fan unit in my old apartment because the blade shattered. The Ace Hardware over on 12th actually had a decent selection of generic replacement parts, including those plastic blades. It was cheaper than ordering online and waiting for shipping. I just brought the old one in to match the size.
