My old wood fence looked dead for years, but a good cleaning and new stain brought it back
The fence on my west side was gray and splintering for about five years. I spent a weekend pressure washing it and then used a solid color stain from a local store, and now it looks almost new. Is it better to just replace old wood like that, or is restoring it always worth the effort first?
Gotta disagree on that one honestly. Last summer was a total mess for trying to get anything done. Every supplier was backed up for weeks. Felt like you had to plan everything months in advance just to get basic materials.
