Rant: Dropped $400 on a smart irrigation controller and my yard is still a swamp
Bought that fancy Wi-Fi sprinkler brain in April because Amarillo summer heat was cooking my grass. It kept detecting rain that never came, so it skipped watering for three weeks straight. Then a storm hit and it ran every zone for an hour, flooding the back patch by the alley. I tore it out yesterday and hooked up my old manual timer from Lowe's for $35. Anyone else had one of these smart devices outsmart itself here in the Panhandle?
