Spent $85 on a grout pen that made my shower look worse
So I saw one of those grout pen things online and figured it would save me from re-grouting the hall bath. Two hours on my knees later, the lines look uneven and chalky, and one pass with a wet rag wiped half of it right off. A guy at the hardware store on Georgia Street asked what I used and just laughed, he said the epoxy grout in a tube runs about $40 and actually holds up. Now I'm debating whether to dig it all out myself or hand it to a pro and eat the cost of my mistake. Did you DIY your grout or hire it out, and what did it run you?

Watched my neighbor try that pen on his kitchen backsplash and he ended up ripping the whole wall out.
