Tool library at the old Santa Fe depot is a hidden gem
I stopped by the Amarillo Tool Library last weekend for a tile saw and ended up borrowing a nail gun too. Membership is like 40 bucks a year and they have everything from augers to oscillating tools. Anyone else use them when a one-time job pops up?

That "hidden gem" is exactly right, I’ve been a member for two years and it’s saved me more times than I can count. My wife still laughs about the time I borrowed a power auger and nearly drilled through the sprinkler line, so maybe I should leave the plumbing to the pros. But for a one-off weekend job like yours, you can’t beat that price for a tool you’ll never use again.
