Vent: I hit 40 little fix it jobs around the house in one weekend and my back is filing a complaint
So I finally sat down and wrote out every little thing that needed fixing around my place in Amarillo, and the list came to 40 items. Sticking doors, a dripping faucet, three loose outlet covers, a fence gate that scrapes the ground, stuff I've walked past for two years. I knocked out 31 of them Saturday and Sunday with nothing but a screwdriver, a tube of caulk, and a pack of shims. The big surprise was that about half took under five minutes each, which made me feel dumb for waiting so long. The other half ate my whole Sunday afternoon and one trip to the hardware store on Georgia. Now I've got 9 left and a sore lower back. How do you all keep a running list so it doesn't pile up like mine did?
