Warning: my 1950s Amarillo house has knob and tube wiring hiding behind the attic insulation
Found a chart from the city permit office showing most homes built before 1955 here still have it, and I only figured it out after pulling back 3 feet of blown-in insulation, so has anyone else dealt with insurance wanting it swapped before they'd cover the place?
