A week where every AI prompt I fed it came out looking like a cartoon mess

Last Tuesday I was messing around with Stable Diffusion trying to make a simple landscape of a forest path. Instead of a nice realistic scene, the AI kept spitting out these goofy cartoon trees with eyes and weird colors. I tried maybe 15 different prompts and tweaked the settings for hours. Each result looked like a kid's drawing gone wrong. By Friday I was ready to toss my laptop out the window. What made it worse was that my friend got perfect results from the same tool using almost the same words. Has anyone else had a week where the AI just refused to cooperate no matter what you typed?

Dude that cartoon eyes thing is oddly specific and I bet it has to do with some bad training data leak or a corrupted model update. Theres a chance you hit a version that was accidentally pulling from a vector of weird "artistic" datasets while your friend had the cached older version that was more tuned for photorealism. Try rolling back to a previous checkpoint or clearing your browser cache if you're using a web UI, I had the same exact issue with a different generator and that fixed it. Also check if you accidentally left a style prompt like "studio ghibli" or "childrens book" in your negative prompts by mistake, that can make the model act possessed.

Gotta disagree with you there. I've seen this exact thing happen with clean installs and fresh checkpoints where there's zero chance of cache issues or accidental style prompts bleeding through.
