Blew $150 on AI art prompts, turns out I was the problem
I spent like $150 over 2 months on those premium prompt packs from a guy on Etsy, thinking my Midjourney results were awful because I didn't have the secret words. Then a friend showed me his free prompt list and the results were basically the same. The real issue was I was using version 5 thinking it was the newest, my settings were stuck on low quality this whole time. Took me changing one slider to fix it, has anyone else paid for stuff that a simple setting change would've solved?

That bit about being "the problem" hit home. I watched a whole YouTube deep dive last week about how most AI art communities are basically selling confidence, not secrets. The guy literally tested a $200 prompt pack against a free one he made in five minutes with random words, and the paid one lost in a blind vote.
