Hot take: using AI art for my cleaning biz flyers actually got me way more calls than my real photos

Whoa hold on, I gotta push back a little on the AI art thing. Don't get me wrong, I get why people use it, but calling it "way more calls than my real photos" is kind of a red flag to me. Like, @mark_ward brought up a good point about expectations - if your flyers show a spotless kitchen with perfect lighting and your actual cleaning job is good but not that polished, people might feel lied to. I think there's a difference between making things look professional and making them look fake, and that line gets blurred real quick. Maybe it works short term, but I'd worry about reviews down the road if customers show up and it doesn't match the vibe of the ad.

Yeah the "way more calls than my real photos" part really got my attention. I had the SAME thing happen when I started using clean AI images for my flyers instead of my actual store pics. My real photos looked messy and dark even with good lighting, but the AI stuff made everything look bright and professional. People just react better to that clean polished look even if it's not totally real. I tried going back to my own photos once and calls dropped off immediately so I switched right back. Sometimes the fake stuff just does the job better and that's okay.

Down the road it might also mess up customer expectations on quality when they show up.
