I finally hit 40 prompt iterations on one image and the 40th was the first one that looked like what was in my head
I've been messing with AI image tools since about March, and I usually give up after 4 or 5 tries because it feels close enough. Last night I wanted a specific thing: an old tackle box on a dock at dawn in Biloxi, paint chipped, one drawer half open. I kept tweaking the wording in tiny ways, and I hit 40 versions before the water reflection and the rusty latch finally lined up. What surprised me is that versions 12 through 30 were all kind of the same picture with different words, so the real jump came when I stopped describing the box and started describing the light. That taught me more about prompting than any tutorial did. Does anyone else keep a log of their failed tries, or do you just delete them and move on?
