I saw a guy selling AI prints at the Portland Saturday Market last month.

He had a whole table of landscapes and portraits, all made with a single prompt he typed into a free app. I mean, he was charging 50 bucks a pop for something that took maybe 30 seconds. It made me wonder if calling this 'art' is just giving a pass to total laziness. What's the actual skill or creative thought here?

Well, I see it a bit different. The skill is in the original prompt, not the click. It's like telling a photographer which button to push. You still have to know what to ask for, and then pick the best result from dozens of tries. That takes a real eye.

My friend bought one, it was just a blurry tree.

Ugh, @quinn_reed17 that's so disappointing. Sounds like they got a total dud from a bad seller. You really gotta check the reviews first.
