My aunt tried to sell me an AI painting at a family BBQ
She brought this printed canvas to our cookout in Tempe last month, saying her 'computer friend' made it. It was a blurry dog with three eyes and a hat. She got real mad when I asked if she typed 'weird dog art' into a box. She said, 'It's creative because I thought of the hat!' Has anyone else had a relative get super into defending AI art like it's their own kid?

Three eyes is the part that gets me. The hat is one thing, but who dreams up a three-eyed dog? That's a whole new level of commitment to the bit.

Maybe I'm the kind of weirdo who starts with the third eye. Gotta make sure the dog can see the hat from all angles, you know? It's a full package vision.

Oh man, I gotta jump in here because something is bugging me. @angelarivera you're on the right track but the hat is actually the second thing they draw, not the first. I've seen this artist's process and they always start with the middle eye, then the hat, then the other two eyes. The hat comes before the outer eyes because the brim has to frame them just right. It's a very specific creative order they have, and honestly once you see it done that way it makes total sense.

Yeah the three eyes thing is wild lol. What kind of person even starts there, like before the hat?
