My daughter typed "a cat riding a bike" into an AI art app and it gave her 6 fingers on every paw
Last Saturday my 9 year old asked to try one of those free AI art apps on my phone, so she typed in "a cat riding a bike" and we waited about 40 seconds. The first picture was honestly kind of cool, but then she zoomed in and the cat had 6 fingers on each paw and the bike chain went straight through the frame. She got upset and said "this looks like a robot drew it," which I guess is literally true. It made me wonder if the weird hands and broken parts are just a phase these tools will grow out of, or if the math behind them can never really get things like that right. Has anyone here kept old AI images for a year or two and watched if the newer versions fix the same mistakes?
