My DIY project with AI art sparked a family debate

Ngl, I used an AI to make a custom print for my living room wall. It looks cool, but my cousin says it's not real creativity since a machine did it. Honestly, I'm stuck in the middle now.

That print looks good in your living room, that's creativity enough.

Yeah exactly, if it looks good in your living room that's what matters most! @jason_hall is right about that being a real creative step too, making everything come together in your own space.

So, I was just reading this article about how creativity isn't just about making something from scratch... it's about the choices you make along the way. @nguyen.angela hit the nail on the head with that point about the living room. The author argued that curating and placing art in your space takes a real eye for design. It's like you're the director of your own little gallery, even if the brush was held by an algorithm.

Funny enough, I used to agree with your cousin. Seeing that print you made, and what @nguyen.angela said, changed my view. You still had to guide the AI, pick the right prompt, and decide it fit your room. That's a real creative step too, isn't it?
