Saw a guy selling AI prints at a craft fair in Austin, changed my mind on something
Went to a local market off South Congress last Saturday and this vendor had a booth of AI-generated desert landscapes, priced at $45 each, and people were actually buying them, so I asked him why he bothers when anyone can type the same prompt. He said he spends 4 hours per piece tweaking and printing on real canvas, and honestly seeing the physical result made me realize the final craft matters more than how the pixels got made. Anyone else flip their stance after seeing AI work in a gallery or store setting?
