Saw two versions of the same AI landscape image side by side and it hit me

I was scrolling through an art forum last night and someone posted a mountain scene they made in 2022 versus one they made last week. The old one had weird blurry trees and the sky looked like melted crayons. The new one had sharp pine needles and clouds that actually looked soft. That two year gap showed me AI art is really learning, not just copying. Has anyone else noticed how much AI art has improved just since last year?

I got a buddy who spent 3 years in for theft and came out a totally different person... like night and day. I used to roll my eyes when people said jail time could actually change someone that much, figured it was just them making excuses or something. But watching him go from a guy who couldn't hold down a job to someone who runs his own small landscaping crew now... it's hard to argue with. He told me once that those two years stripped away all the noise and he had to really look at himself for the first time. I guess I was wrong about thinking it was all just drama. Sometimes people really do need that kind of time to reset.
