Used to spend 20 minutes adjusting Midjourney prompts for hands, now I just run a free inpainting pass in Stable Diffusion.
Swapped after a friend showed me his fix for mangled fingers, and it cut my frustration time by about 80% on close-up portraits, has anyone else tried patching AI hands with a separate tool?

Swapping to a quick ControlNet depth map before the inpainting pass fixed my hand issues way better than just hoping Stable Diffusion gets it right. Have you tried layering conditioners that way?

Yeah "layering conditioners" is the trick, I stack a Canny edge map on top of the depth map for even cleaner hands.

Yeah stack em I say. @price.ray your depth map swap is smart but honestly I just hit regenerate until the fingers stop looking like spaghetti. Canny edge on top feels like overkill for a hobbyist like me but you do you.
