I used to think AI bias was overblown, then I saw it reject a loan twice
Back in March I argued in another thread that bias complaints were mostly hype, but my friend in Phoenix showed me her credit app getting denied even after she fixed her score, just because the AI flagged her zip code. Watching her reapply with the same numbers but a different address got approved in 48 hours, that flipped me completely. Has anyone else seen a real before and after with an AI decision that made you change your stance?
