Saw a new AI art display at the Denver museum and it made me feel weird
Honestly, I went to the Denver Art Museum last weekend and they had a whole room of pictures made by an AI. The info card said the AI was trained on thousands of paintings from the 1800s. It just felt wrong to me, like the machine was copying real artists' work without really knowing what it was doing. Everyone around me seemed amazed, but I just saw a fancy copy machine. Has anyone else felt this way about AI art in public places?

My cousin in Seattle had an AI write their wedding vows last year. The whole thing sounded like a car manual mixed with a greeting card. It was technically correct but had no feeling behind it. I get that same empty feeling looking at AI pictures, like there's no person there. It just follows a pattern it learned.
