The shift in how my hospital handles patient data consent forms since we got the new AI scheduling system

Before, it was a simple 'yes/no' checkbox, but now there's a 3-page addendum about algorithm training and 'secondary use' that nobody reads. Has your workplace seen this kind of legal creep too?

Three pages? That's insane. Our new time clock app had a 15 paragraph terms of service just to clock in. It said they could use our biometric data for "system improvement." Like, my fingerprint is training their software now? Feels like they're hiding the real deal in all that fine print.

You ever just click agree without reading? I did that for a work app once and later found out I okayed them tracking my location 24/7. My boss probably knows I get tacos every Tuesday at 11:45. They bury the wild stuff in there hoping we're too lazy to look.

Wow, @king.eric, I just highlight the key parts for staff now, like data use and opt-out clauses.
