AI reply bots are killing real friend vibes, and I'm over it
I used one for my social media comments, and my buddies said I sounded like a robot. Going back to typing my own stuff made chats feel human again, lol.

Wait you actually used one of those auto reply bots for your friends? That's wild, man. No wonder they called you out, those things have such obvious fake nice energy. It's crazy to think anyone believes a bot can copy how real people actually talk to each other. Your buddies know your vibe, so a robot trying to do it would stick out immediately. Glad you switched back to typing yourself, that's the only way it works.

How could anyone use a bot to talk to friends and think it would work? @logan658, you're totally right about that fake nice energy being obvious. Those bots always give the same boring replies and never match how people actually joke around. I saw one tell someone "have a great day" during an argument, which just feels so off.

Tech just makes everything feel less personal lately, which totally fits what @logan658 said about fake vibes.

Actually those bots can be useful for work stuff like answering basic customer questions. But @phoenix_bailey is right, they totally fail with friends because they miss all the inside jokes and personal history. Trying to fake that connection just ends up making things feel more empty. It's good you noticed the difference and went back to typing your own replies. Real talk needs a real person behind it.
