Am I the only one who thinks AI task managers add stress to remote work?
My company rolled out an AI tool that assigns daily tasks based on our chat history. It keeps giving me jobs that don't match my skills, like data analysis when I'm in design. Coworkers are getting similar mismatches, and now our morning sync-ups are just us correcting the AI. I spent an hour yesterday redoing a task it assigned wrong. This feels like it's slowing us down instead of speeding things up. Has anyone found a way to train these tools better? I want to give feedback, but I'm not sure where to start. It's making me dread checking my task list every day.

Totally get what you mean about the clueless AI, and that "training" idea. We have the same junk at my job. It keeps putting me on customer support tickets because I used the word "help" in a team chat last week. Now I have to waste time every morning moving tasks back to the right people. It just makes more work for everyone. Feels like we're all just training it to be less bad instead of doing our actual jobs.

Sounds like we're all just unpaid interns for the AI.

Try training that clueless AI with better chat tags.

That "clueless AI" comment actually changed my view on training. I used to think it was hopeless, but better chat tags really help, don't they? Now I see why focusing on how we talk to AI matters so much.
