Found a weird trick that fixed my AI image generation consistency
I was getting totally random results from the same prompt every time, even with seed locking. Then I tried adding a specific color palette reference at the end of the prompt and it worked like magic for keeping the style consistent across 12 generations. Has anyone else tried forcing color constraints this way?

Hold up, are we really calling a color palette trick a "weird fix" for consistency? Locking seeds was supposed to be the gold standard, but now a few hex codes somehow save the day? Feels like the tool might just be glitchier than we want to admit. What kind of palette did you throw in there to get 12 clean gens? I'd bet it falls apart if you try anything more complex than flat cartoon styles.

Yeah @gavin365 you're not wrong about the cartoon thing, I used a muted earthy palette with a couple of warm accents and it held up way better than I expected on photoreal stuff too. My trick is picking 3 colors from a reference image first, then the tool just runs with it.

Dude, that 3-color trick is genuinely wild. I pulled a super desaturated teal, a clay orange, and a dull olive from a photo of a desert landscape last week and it spat out 15 clean gens in a row on my cyberpunk street scene. I half expected the whole thing to fall apart on the second batch but it held up on faces, textures, everything. I think the tool just gets lazy with too many colors, so limiting it to 3 forces it to actually map them smartly instead of making a muddy mess. Have you noticed it works best when you pick one warm and two cold tones? That combo seems to stick the most for me.
