I finally found the right prompt setup for AI meeting notes

I spent 3 weeks testing two ways to get AI to summarize our team meetings. One was just pasting the raw transcript in and asking for notes. The other was giving the AI a short template first with sections for decisions, action items, and risks. The template version cut my review time from 20 minutes to about 6 per meeting. Turns out telling the AI what structure you want beats hoping it picks the right one. Anyone else tried giving their AI a custom format before the text?
