I spent $200 on an AI writing tool that just made up fake facts

I mean, I bought a year of WriteWizard Pro last month to help with my blog, and it kept putting in stuff that was just wrong. Like, it said the first computer was invented in 1822 by a guy named Charles Pencil. I had to go back and check every single thing it wrote, which took way longer than just writing it myself. Has anyone else had an AI tool just completely invent things out of nowhere?

Ugh, that's the worst! My free trial of some other app did the same thing. It told me coffee was discovered in 1492 by a sailor who tripped over a bean plant. Like, what? It's so frustrating because you think it's saving you time, but then you're down a rabbit hole fact-checking nonsense. I don't trust any of them now.

It's crazy how much extra work they can create. Makes the whole thing pointless.

Yeah I saw an article about this, they call it "hallucinating" or something. It just makes stuff up when it doesn't know. Kinda scary to rely on them for anything real.
