I think everyone's wrong about using AI to write a basic script for my home thermostat.

It took me over six hours to get the temperature logic right because the model kept adding unnecessary safety checks that broke the schedule.

Tech always solves problems you don't have.

So @cole_flores44, what's a recent tech product that really felt like a solution hunting for a problem? Like those smart fridges that tweet when you're out of milk.

Honestly, those smart juicers that need special sealed packets of chopped fruit. Why not just use a blender? It creates more trash and costs way more for the same result. Feels like they made a complicated machine just to sell those little packs. Who even asked for that? Just seems like a waste of money and counter space.

Wait, they need special sealed packets? You can't even put your own fruit in it? That's wild. So you buy a machine that only works with their overpriced fruit packs. It's like a printer that only takes one brand of ink, but for juice. What happens when they stop making the packets? You just have a big plastic brick on your counter.
