Paid $29 for an AI noise remover for my podcast and it saved my interview from a leaf blower
I record a small podcast out of my garage in Tucson and last Tuesday my neighbor started up his leaf blower right in the middle of a 40 minute interview. I almost scrapped the whole episode because you could hear it humming under everything he said. Out of desperation I paid $29 for a one month sub to an AI audio cleanup tool that I had seen in a YouTube comment. It pulled the blower noise out almost completely and you can still hear his voice fine, only took about 6 minutes to process the file. Now I am wondering if I should just keep paying for it or if there is a free tool that does the same thing, has anyone here tried one?
I had almost the same thing happen with a lawn mower outside my window. I used Audacity, it's free, and the noise removal filter got rid of most of it. Took some messing with the settings but worth trying before you pay again.
