Can we talk about how my AI assistant deleted a whole client project?
Honestly, I trusted this AI project manager tool to sort our client files for a big launch last Tuesday. It somehow deleted a folder with 6 months of work, over 200 drafts, and the final copy. I spent 4 hours fighting with support, but the backup system was also automated and it had already purged the old versions. We ended up rebuilding the whole pitch in 2 days with a human team, and honestly it went smoother than with the AI. That incident made me realize we're way too quick to hand over core tasks to systems that can't tell us when they mess up. Has anyone else had an AI tool break something critical, and did you go back to manual work after?
