Caught myself blindly trusting a PDF resume scanner for hiring
Realized I was weeding out candidates based on keyword matches the AI pulled from their PDFs, but it kept skipping folks who wrote their experience in tables or as plain text paragraphs, and it wasn't until I hired one guy who looked terrible on paper but turned out great that I finally stopped and ran the same resumes through a manual read, so has anyone else found a way to make screening tools actually catch those line breaks and formatting quirks?
