Dropped $300 on an AI video generator that made me look like a cartoon character
I wanted to save time making promo clips for my side gig so I bought a year sub to one of those AI video tools. It turned my talking head into some waxy animated thing that moved like a glitchy robot. Customers actually asked if I was joking or if my webcam broke. Has anyone else dumped cash on AI tools that just flopped at basic tasks?

$300 for a year is rough, I feel your pain. I tried one of those AI video tools and it made me look like a melted action figure who forgot their lines. The mouth sync was so bad it looked like I was trying to eat the microphone. My buddy asked if I was filming from inside a jellyfish tank. I swear the thing added 20 pounds of waxy chin I don't even have. Did you at least get a refund or are they making you stick with the cartoon nightmare for the full year?

Did they offer you a refund or just ghost you?

Man I saw this YouTube breakdown of these tools and apparently the mouth sync is still basically a dice roll, they just market it like it works perfectly. Seems like the tech is still a couple years out from not turning people into waxy nightmares. At least you got a funny story out of it, right?
