My buddy at the warehouse did the same thing last year. The auto-scheduler kept putting him on the worst shifts. He spent a weekend watching videos on how the thing worked, found the rule that sorted by last name, and changed his middle initial in the system. Suddenly he got all the morning slots. They never even noticed.

That auto-scheduler rule about last names is WILD. It seems like such a basic thing for them to miss. Your buddy is a genius for figuring that out.
