My AI assistant double-booked me for two client meetings last Tuesday in Phoenix

I was sitting at a coffee shop waiting for a 10am call when my calendar pinged with a noon meeting at the same spot, same client. The AI had merged two separate requests from different sales reps, and I ended up rushing between tables trying to explain the mix-up to one of them. Has anyone else had an AI scheduling tool create this kind of mess for you?

I used to think people were overreacting about AI scheduling tools, but then something similar happened to me and it totally changed my mind. My calendar showed a 2pm call with a vendor and a 3pm meeting across town, but the AI had booked the vendor at a location 30 minutes away from the first one without telling me. I spent half the afternoon texting apologies and drinking cold coffee while trying to sort it out. Now I double check everything manually before I leave the house, which kind of defeats the purpose of having an assistant in the first place.

Man that sounds like a total mess, @nguyen.angela. I swear these so-called smart tools have a talent for making your life harder instead of easier. They probably think they're being clever by not telling you the details, but it's like that friend who says "I got you covered" and then you show up at the wrong restaurant. Double checking everything manually just turns your assistant into a liability you have to babysit, which is basically paying someone to give you homework. Honestly, I'd rather keep my coffee hot and my sanity intact than trust an algorithm with my schedule ever again.
