My coworker said to stop fighting AI tools and I finally listened

Back in March my buddy Dave at the Denver office kept telling me to just let the AI draft the first pass of my reports instead of starting from scratch. I ignored him for like 6 weeks because I thought it would make me lazy. Finally tried it last Tuesday and finished a whole project in 4 hours instead of 10. Has anyone else had a specific person's advice that actually worked out?

6 weeks" man thats wild. You sat through 36 hours of extra work just on principle? I wouldve caved after like 2 days lol.

$18 worth of gas to drive back and forth those extra 3 days a week probably canceled out any satisfaction from the protest.

Wait, did you actually make it the full 6 weeks or did you tap out eventually? lol. Gotta know if the principle held up or if you just got too stubborn to admit defeat halfway through.

Wound up tapping out at 4 weeks when my back said nope, felix414 was right about me not lasting long. Guess the principle died somewhere around week 3 when I realized I was just being stubborn for no good reason.
