My first AI resume writer gave me a completely fake job history

I was sitting at my kitchen table last Tuesday trying to apply for a data entry position. I used one of those AI resume builder tools to save time. It invented a whole job at a company called 'TechFlow Solutions' that I never worked at. I didn't catch it until the recruiter called and asked about my experience there. Has anyone else had AI tools straight up make stuff up like that?

Read something where a guy's AI wrote a reference letter from a person who never existed. Machines just guess based on patterns.

I mean yea thats weird but honestly who's really checking references that hard anyway? Half the time its just HR going through motions.
