Saw AI scheduling software nuke our whole shift calendar at 3am

At the diner last Thursday, the new AI roster tool auto-assigned 14 people to the same Friday night shift and left the morning completely empty, so I spent an hour manually fixing it before anyone noticed. Has anyone else had to babysit these systems more than they save time, or is my place just using a bad one?
