We chose the protection over the money, and honestly, it feels like we dodged a bullet after seeing the layoffs at the sorting center in St. Louis. Has your workplace had any real talks about this stuff yet?

That protection clause is going to look like a bargain in a couple years. My shop is still in denial, acting like it's a problem for the future. Getting ahead of it now is the only smart move.
