Watched an AI bot write a full marketing email in 10 seconds at my buddy's office
His boss just bought some 'Copilot for Teams' thing and now they're talking about cutting the junior copywriter position. Feels like it's not about helping us work better, it's about replacing us. Anyone else seeing this happen in creative jobs now?

Cutting the junior role over one email is a wild overreaction lol

Hold up, is it really just one email though? Like, what if it was full of insults or sent to the whole company? Or maybe it leaked private client info. There's a big difference between a typo and a total meltdown. Sometimes that "one email" is the last straw after other issues.

Yeah exactly, I mean it's never just the email itself right. It's the whole picture. If someone's been messing up small things for months and then sends a truly bad email, that's the final proof they don't get it. Or like you said, if that one email causes a huge legal problem or loses a client, that's a fireable offense on its own. Managers usually look for reasons to keep people, not fire them, so if it happens over an email, that email was probably really, really bad.
