Back then, I never thought I'd give up my skillet for an air fryer

I was so used to the sound and smell of frying in oil. Learning to trust the timer and not peek too much made all the difference... what a relief. What's one thing you had to unlearn when you started air frying?

Totally get that. I had to stop poking and prodding every few minutes, trusting it would cook evenly. It's like how we check too much on stuff in life when sometimes just setting a timer and walking away works better. Letting go of that control is a skill in itself.

Wait, you were poking and prodding every few minutes? That's crazy! I'd be so worried about letting all the heat out and messing up the cooking. How did you even manage to step away after doing that so often? It really does sound like a tough habit to break.

Honestly, my chicken gets more attention than my texts with all that poking.

Ugh, that's the worst. I'm with @mia660 on this, you have to force yourself to walk away. My chicken always turns out better when I just leave it alone.
