Ngl I was the same way for ages. My basket was always packed with fries and nuggets piled on top of each other. Then I tried leaving space between a few chicken tenders and it was a total game changer. They came out so much crispier and actually cooked evenly. I had to admit my old method was just making everything soggy.

Try using a rack to double your space and get that crisp on both sides.
