I spent $40 on a fancy air fryer cookbook and it was a total waste

I bought the 'Gourmet Air Fryer' book online after seeing so many good reviews. Every recipe I tried needed special tools or weird ingredients I had to buy. The 'crispy artichoke' recipe took over an hour and came out soggy. Has anyone found a good book with simple, normal recipes that actually work?

Ugh that is the WORST feeling. My sister got me a fancy one for Christmas and it was the same deal, every page needed some special basket or sprayer. The whole point of an air fryer is easy weeknight food, not a two hour project for soggy vegetables. I ended up just looking up recipes on regular food blogs instead.

Watched my buddy try to make a single chicken breast in his new one. He had to find this weird little tray, then mist everything with oil from a bottle he had to buy special. The thing beeped like crazy halfway through to tell him to shake the basket. He ended up with a dry piece of chicken and a sink full of parts to wash. He looked so defeated.
