I was dead wrong about frozen veggies in the air fryer
For years I thought frozen broccoli would just turn into a soggy mess in the air fryer, so I always bought fresh. My sister tossed a bag of frozen green beans straight from the freezer at 400F for 12 minutes last week, and they came out crispy with those little charred edges. No thawing, no oil, nothing fancy. I tried it myself with frozen cauliflower yesterday and it was actually better than fresh. Has anyone else had luck with a specific frozen vegetable that surprised you?

Hell yeah, frozen corn gets caramelized and actually tastes like summer.

Wait, is that really true about frozen corn getting caramelized?

That "tastes like summer" line really hit me. I ruined a perfectly good batch of ears from a roadside stand two years ago by boiling them too long and they got all mushy. Now I just buy the frozen bags and roast them in a cast iron skillet with butter until they get those black spots. It actually reminds me of the street corn I had at a fair once, except I don't have the patience to mess with all the mayo and cheese. Have you ever tried tossing them in chili powder after they get nice and dark?
