Noticed my air fryer chicken thighs were dry until I started brining them in pickle juice for 20 minutes last week

Tried that trick from a blog I found and the texture was way better, has anyone else experimented with different brines for air fryer poultry?

I saw someone on Reddit swear by dill pickle brine for chicken wings and it made me wonder if adding a little garlic powder to the brine would work even better. I've been meaning to try a mix of pickle juice and a splash of hot sauce next time for a little extra kick without making it too wet. Maybe it's just me but that combo sounds like it would keep the meat juicy and add some flavor without overpowering the chicken.

Wait, hot sauce in the brine? That's wild, never thought of adding heat right into the liquid like that. Gonna have to try that combo myself this weekend for sure.
