Rant: paid $16 for a silicone air fryer liner and it's the only reason I still have a fryer
So a while back I bought one of those little silicone basket liners on a whim, I think it was like 16 bucks at Target, and I fully expected it to be junk. Turns out it's the only reason my fryer isn't sitting in a dumpster out back. Before that I was scrubbing that thing for 20 minutes after every batch of wings, and honestly I was about to give up and go back to the oven. Last Tuesday I did a full basket of sticky honey garlic thighs, popped the liner out, rinsed it in 30 seconds, and the basket was still spotless. The liner does cut down the airflow a bit so things take maybe 2 extra minutes, so keep that in mind. Has anyone tried the paper ones instead? Wondering if they crisp better or if I'm just wasting money.
