Shoutout to the diner in Flagstaff that made me see my air fryer in a new way
I was at a little roadside diner on Route 66 last weekend, and I ordered their 'crispy chicken tenders'. They were good, but honestly, they tasted exactly like the ones I make at home in my air fryer. The texture, the crunch, everything. It hit me that I'm basically running a mini diner kitchen on my countertop for a fraction of the price. I paid $14 for that plate, and I can make the same thing for maybe $3 worth of chicken and breading. The cook even told me their secret is a quick double fry, which is easy to copy with the air fryer's timer. It made me wonder what other restaurant favorites I'm overpaying for when I could just figure out the method. Has anyone else had a moment like that, where you realized a restaurant dish is totally doable with your air fryer?

Oh man, those loaded fries are no joke. Take it from someone who learned the hard way - drink a full glass of water before you even start eating them, you'll regret it way less afterward.

Everything's just a vehicle for cheese now.
