Warning: I used to burn every batch of frozen fries in my air fryer
I finally read the manual after three failed attempts and realized I was overcrowding the basket. Now I cook them in two smaller batches at 400 degrees for 12 minutes, and they come out perfect every time. What's the one frozen food you had to learn a specific trick for in your air fryer?

Frozen pizza rolls were my nemesis. They'd either be cold in the middle or explode everywhere. Found out you gotta shake the basket like three times while they cook.

Actually, shaking the basket for pizza rolls can make them burst more. I poke each one with a fork before cooking to let the steam out. It stops the explosions and they cook all the way through. That little hole makes all the difference.

Oh man, @hannah320, you just solved a years-old mystery for me. I always thought the shaking method was gospel, so I'd end up with a basket full of shrapnel and a few sad, intact rolls. Never even crossed my mind to poke them first. I guess I was so busy shaking the basket like I was trying to win a carnival game that I missed the simple fix. My air fryer's interior has seen some things because of that.
