Had my lead AP call out a mistake I've been making for 7 years
I've been safety wiring oil filter adapters the same way since my first job at SkyWest in 2016. Last Tuesday, our lead AP motioned me over and just pointed at the end of the wire, no words, then walked off. He had to show me the twist direction was backwards the whole time, so it was actually loosening under vibration instead of tightening. Anyone else have a blind spot that took a decade to surface?

Bet that adapter is gonna be the tightest thing on the ramp now.
