Hit 500 fuel nozzle rebuilds this morning without a single leak back

I was just tallying up my shop records and realized I passed 500 fuel nozzle rebuilds without a single return for a leak. That second O-ring trick my mentor showed me back in 2019 must actually work... has anyone else tracked a specific milestone like that in their own work?

Man that's a hell of a milestone right there. 500 rebuilds with zero comebacks is something to be proud of, especially with fuel nozzles where the tolerances are so tight. That second O-ring trick sounds like one of those little details that makes all the difference in the world. I've been working on injectors for about six years now and I still don't have a perfect record like that, so I know how hard it is to hit that kind of consistency. You earned that feeling of satisfaction for sure.

Yo did you used to think that extra O-ring was just overkill too? Lowkey changed my whole view on injector rebuilds after seeing how much it cuts down on wear over time.

Yo @reese_hayes71 you were spot on about the second O-ring. That trick sounds like the real deal. Terry you've put in some serious work hitting 500 rebuilds with no comebacks. I've done maybe 200 and I've had a couple slip through. Fuel nozzles are brutal with those tight tolerances. One tiny mistake and you're starting over. You've got my respect for sure man.
