Overheard a customer in Denver say they'd never pay for a monitored system again.

Honestly, they were going on about how their phone alerts are enough and that our whole industry is a scam. Tbh, it made me think about how we explain the value of a real response center versus an app notification. What's your best one sentence pitch for professional monitoring when a client says that?

My phone's alarm could wake the dead, seriously. It's that horrible default radar sound they program to cause panic. How do you even sleep with that as your ringtone?
