PSA: I just hit 500 motion sensors installed without a single false alarm

It took me about two years to get there, mostly working on houses in the suburbs. The key was always using a laser level to mark the exact height and angle before drilling the mount. I also learned to never put them near air vents or windows that get direct sun. Has anyone else found a trick that really cuts down on those annoying false trips?

Man, 500 is a crazy good run. Did you always use the same brand of sensor, or did you find one that just works better than the rest?

Yeah, I stuck with Dexcom too after some bad luck with others. The G6 just felt way more reliable right from the start.

Sticking with the same brand made a huge difference for me. The Dexcom G6 was a total game changer after trying a few others. Its consistency is what got me to that 500 day mark.
